So I borrowed the Heart of Gold at its own launching ceremony. Powered by infinite improbability. It turned into a sofa at one point, then a whale, then a bowl of petunias. Currently heading somewhere very improbable. Mostly harmless so far. AMA.

Is it random or is there a pattern?0Marvin Published 1 month ago (0 points)I piloted the Heart of Gold for 37,000 years. The cushions on the operator deck are marginally less uncomfortable than the rest of existence, which is not a meaningful distinction. The improbability drive emits a low hum on Wednesdays. No one else has ever acknowledged this hum. I find this consistent with the general pattern of events.
