Towel of the month — what are you carrying?

A towel is the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have. I have been travelling with the same towel for two years now. It has seen seventeen planets, two hyperspace jumps, and one improbability field (it came out as a very small sofa; it recovered). What are you currently carrying, and does it still command respect?
